The piece lands in the not so distant future, we have evolved with our technology to become one. What ensues is a dreamlike remembering of what led to this moment. This is a nonlinear journey through the reimagined now, a world afflicted by global warming, war, and greed, that has spun our society out of control.

kaijo caggins (they/he) is a Black trans neurodivergent performance artist and educator. kaijo received their BFA in Dance from University of the Arts, under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield. kaijo observes experimental paths of possibility and radical defiance through pleasure and theatrics in their performance practices. he works alongside objects, texture, sculpture, sound and atmosphere; with an emphasis on land histories, genealogy, improvisation and somatics. recent performances include a work curated by Niall Jones and Sara Procopio at Camping 2022 (France) and a collaborative evening facilitated by Jungwoon Kim (Philadelphia). they are currently in process with Curt Haworth, as well as curating a solo performance in conversation with Motive Brooklyn.

Amalia Colon-Nava is a farmer and multi-disciplinary artist that loves to move.  The majority of her formal education is in dance performance but she has always loved food and playing in the dirt.  She joined as a founding member of Dirtbaby Farm in 2021.  She works for the Painted Bride as the project manager for the Resistance Garden Project.  This project works with urban farms/gardens, artists and foragers to expand agricultural knowledge and our relationship with the land.  Her passion for urban agriculture stems from the deep belief that we must heal our severed connection with the land on both a personal and political level in order to save our planet from the existential threat of climate change.  She is moving through cycles infusing her love for nurturing the earth with her passion for dance, care, play and sensation.
